Women's Soccer Downed 3-0 at D'Youville

10/22/2016 — BUFFALO, N.Y. - Penn State Altoona women's soccer lost 3-0 to Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference opponent D'Youville College on Saturday afternoon at Dobson Field.

D'Youville (6-9-1, 2-6 AMCC) got a hat trick from Terra Juda to account for its three goals.

Juda made it 1-0 at 29:35 when she scored following a corner kick by Kiernan Johnson. Just over two minutes later, Juda doubled D'Youville's lead with another goal off of a corner kick, this time with the assist going to Magan Magee.

The Lady Spartans made it 3-0 midway through the second half when Juda converted on a penalty kick try at 68:23.

Molly Malone (Altoona, PA/Altoona) made 10 saves in goal for Penn State Altoona (4-11-1, 1-6-1 AMCC).

D'Youville outshot the Lady Lions 18-8, including holding a 13-4 lead in shots on goal. The Lady Spartans also held a 6-3 advantage in corner kicks.

Penn State Altoona women's soccer will host AMCC opponent Pitt-Greensburg on Tuesday, October 25 at 5:00 p.m. for the Lady Lions' final regular season game. The team will also recognize its senior players in a pregame Senior Day ceremony.
