Lady Lions Swept 3-0 in ECAC Tournament Match at Marymount


11/9/2016 — ARLINGTON, Va. - #4 Penn State Altoona women's volleyball was eliminated from the Eastern College Athletic Conference's Division III Championship Tournament on Wednesday afternoon when the Lady Lions suffered a 3-0 loss to #1 Marymount University in a first round match at the Verizon Sports Arena.

Marymount (24-8, 7-2 CAC) swept the match in three sets by scores of 25-13, 25-17, and 25-19.

Penn State Altoona's (13-14, 8-1 AMCC) Kelsey Bristol (Troy, PA/Troy) led her team with five kills and two service aces while adding 10 digs. Logan Reedy (Lebanon, PA/Cedar Crest) had four kills and two block assists, and Lauren Diller (Chambersburg, PA/Chambersburg) added four kills and one block assist.

Josie Stovall (Palmyra, PA/Palmyra) finished with four kills, and Kaitlin Cassaday (Bel Air, MD/Bel Air) contributed three kills and six digs.

Emily Bryan (Waynesboro, PA/Waynesboro) had a team-high 17 set assists to go along with six digs.

Emily Baker (Lewisberry, PA/Red Land) led all players on the day with 15 digs.
